Terms of Service
Suits and Socks Cleaners accepts all laundered Wash ‘n’ Fold garments on the basis of weight and does not perform a piece-by-piece count. In keeping with our green commitment to discourage water waste, a minimum order amount for Wash ‘n Fold is $15. There is no minimum for Dry Cleaning orders however total order (all services ordered combined) must be at least $15 before taxes. If order minimum level is not reached, Suits & Socks will apply a charge for the minimum order amount.
Orders Left Unclaimed
Due to limited space and the nature of our business Suits and Socks Cleaners is not responsible for any items left over 30 days. If you require more time please arrange that with us beforehand and we will try to accommodate your request. Any clothes left with us for over 90 days will be given to a local charity.
Suits and Socks Cleaners Wash ‘n’ Fold service is not responsible for damage to items labeled “hand wash only” or “dry clean only” and is not responsible for checking for these labels in customers’ clothing items. Please check before placing clothes in the regular laundry bags. The Suits and Socks Cleaners offers both Dry Cleaning and Wash ‘n’ Fold services, please make sure to label and identify each bag accordingly.
Suits and Socks Cleaners is not responsible for loss of or damage to any personal or non-cleanable items left in the clothing or bags such as money or jewelry. Suits and Socks Cleaners is also not responsible for items left in clothing (e.g. ink pen, markers, lip balm, etc) that may result in damage to clothing during wash. We do our best to check clothing before a regular washing however we cannot always check every piece. Please do not leave any such items in clothing or in the delivery bags.
Suits and Socks Cleaners is not responsible for any loss, damage or theft of items left unattended for pick up-or drop-off by our drivers. Suits and Socks Cleaners will not leave any bags unattended unless requested by the customer to do so.
Suits and Socks Cleaners does not guarantee removal of all stains. When brought to our attention from the customer we will discuss possible stain treatments and issues that could happen.
Damaged Wash & Fold
Suits and Socks Cleaners is not responsible for clothing items that bleed, shrink, or otherwise change as a result of normal washing. We cannot guarantee against color loss, color bleeding, and shrinkage; or against damage to weak and tender fabrics; or against damage to ancillary items such as belts, buttons, beads, ties or zipper pulls
Suits and Socks Cleaners at its sole discretion may reimburse clients for lost or damaged Wash ‘n’ Fold clothing in an amount to be determined by Suits and Socks Cleaners - this amount cannot exceed $150.00 in total per order or $30.00 total for every 15lbs of laundry washed regardless of brand or condition. Customers must notify Suits and Socks Cleaners within 2 business days of receipt of a delivery of any lost or damaged items from that particular order, failure to do so constitutes waiver of a claim for any lost or damaged items from that delivery.
Suits and Socks Cleaners in its sole discretion may reimburse clients for lost dry cleaning items in accordance with the Dry Cleaning and Fabricare Institute and shall not exceed ten (10) times our charge for cleaning that garment regardless of brand or condition. Customers must notify Suits and Socks Cleaners within 3 business days of receipt of a delivery of any lost or damaged items from that particular delivery, failure to do so constitutes a waiver of claim for any lost or damaged dry cleaning items from that delivery.
Damaged Dry Cleaning Items
Suits & Socks does not assume responsibility for inherent weaknesses or defects in materials which may result in tears or development of small holes in fabric that are not readily apparent prior to processing. We cannot guarantee against color loss, color bleeding, and shrinkage; or against damage to weak and tender fabrics; or against damage to ancillary items such as belts, buttons, beads, ties or zipper pulls. Suits & Socks liability with respect to any damaged items shall not exceed ten times our charge for cleaning the respective garment regardless of brand/condition. Any damaged items must be reported and returned to Suits & Socks Cleaners for inspection within 3 business days.
Payment for orders are due on pickup at the store or at the time of delivery. Drivers carry no cash so payment must be made by credit card or debit.
Suits & Socks will make its best effort to return clothes within 72 hours (excluding Sunday’s). However, we do not guarantee turnaround times and assume no responsibility for any damages that may occur due to a delay in service.
Discounts, Special Pricing & Coupons
Discounts, special pricing and coupons cannot be combined. Only one will be applied per order. General marketing discounts will apply to retail customers only. Commercial customer’s discounts if applicable will be in a separate service agreement.
Referral codes are to be used to refer new clients. Address, name and payment information must not be on file with Suits & Socks Cleaners to provide a discount to the referred person. Referral certificates are not for use by the referring account e.g. self-use. Referring customers will receive a credit to their account as noted on all referral certificates.
Right to Refuse Service
Suits and Socks Cleaners reserve the right to refuse cleaning items.
We may collect personal identification information from users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when users visit our site, become a member on the site, place an order, fill out a form, enter a giveaway or contest, company newsletters and in connection with any other activities, services, features or resources that we make available. Users may be asked for their name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and credit card information.
Suits & Socks collects personal information for the following purposes:
Order Processing - We use the information when placing your order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service.
To send emails and text messages when instructed - The email addresses provide for order processing will only be used to send information and updates pertaining to orders. It may also be used to respond to their inquiries and/or other requests or questions. If a user decides to opt-in to our mailing list, he/she will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. User, members and anyone else who uses our services can unsubscribe at any time by responding to the unsubscribe button or you can contact us directly to unsubscribe.
